Most of this new content comes in the form of the animated Studio Stories. These are short 5-10 minute shorts that chronicle the behind the scenes stories from the films by the people at Pixar who worked on them. Some of these are hilarious, and if you’re a die-hard Pixar fan like myself, they are well worth the price of admission. I think my favorite one featured none other than Apple CEO Steve Jobs, trying to convince John Lasseter after Toy Story 1 to buy a new car. This was because the one he drove scared the people at Pixar, and Steve didn’t want one of his most valuable employees driving around in a deathtrap.

No please! Toy Story 3 was awesome and is where the series should end

First released to theaters in 1995, Toy Story was the first feature-length computer animated film. Riding on the success of the first film, Toy Story 2 came out in 1999. Now both movies are being released in anticipation of the third Toy Story film (in 3D) to hit theaters June 18, 2010.

Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are headed for Blu-ray Disc March 23, 2010. The releases will include both Blu-ray and DVD versions as Combo Packs. Disney Home Entertainment will also release special edition standard-def DVDs of the films on May 11, 2010.
