Terriria on Scratch by HOTRODS999 ..

Yrimir as a character is the essence of my gaming personality

The answer to both questions, it turns out, will either terrify or excite you. I’m playing on a map that 505 Games Community Manager Logan Rosenstein has already spent dozens of hours building and editing – and not only is there still a whole lot of vacant space yet to be built-out, but this is the smallest of the three canvas sizes you’re given the option to play with when you begin the game.

In Windscape you play as a young girl living on your parents’ farm, set in a lovely world made up of floating islands in the sky. As you discover the world you learn that something has gone terribly wrong – islands are breaking apart and falling from the sky! It’s up to you to discover the evil that is threatening the universe of Windscape.

Shame the inventory system, UI, load screens, and food intake systems are absolutely garbage. What’s that? You haven’t had 2L of water today? Well, you die. No human has ever survived a single day without taking in at least 2L of water a day..Sarcasm, incase you missed it. The temperature gauge is terrible. It shows zero relevant data, as does the PDA device in general. It should be color coated to show what’s too high or too low. Instead it’s a guessing game when it comes to temperature or sleep. It’s a mess of problems that show just how detached from the gaming world this developer really is. I’m all for making mistakes, but the ones they’re making are the same ones countless others have made. Making a giant waste of time. Game has potential in a sequel if more experienced people get in on it. Microsoft should pick it up since they had it on preview I think. They could float some talent their way.

Alex: My quick pitch would be “Sci-Fi Squad and loot-based RPG Roguelite with 4 player cooperative multiplayer.” Lisa, would that be accurate? or have I done something terrible to our baby?

I guess what I’m trying to say is that it was a peppy little thing. It had enough arcade action to tide over the constructive moments. And it was terrible to watch as the great wall you built caught fire from an errant flaming arrow, and crumbled into a pile of rubble. Terrible and excellent.
