On top of the Signature Sleep mattress is a thick, strong foam top pad that will give you body molding comfort that cradles you and lets your muscles relax. The memory foam spring top layers both sides so you can flip this mattress and sleep comfortably on either side. This is an important quality in a mattress, as it extends the life to almost twice that of a single-sided mattress. When using a double-sided mattress, flip it each time you change the sheets to keep the shape and support of the inner springs and foam in the best shape possible.
You can use the Signature Sleep Contour mattress with or without a box spring under the right circumstance. If you place the mattress directly on the floor, have a solid platform bed or use a frame with slats, you can place the mattress directly on the frame/floor without the use of a box spring. The only time you need a box spring is if you need the mattress higher than the thickness of the mattress, or if you have a metal perimeter bed frame with an open center (if you still prefer no box spring, simply put slats inside the frame resting on the edges of the metal sides).
It might look like all mattresses are the same, but the will show you that this is not the case. This particular mattress stands out from the rest because it’s built to support your spine. The problem with other mattresses is that they don’t have the ability to conform or adjust to your body as you sleep, and this causes back problems and pressure. With this Signature Sleep mattress and its ability to adjust to your body shape, your vertebra is supported adequately, and this relieves pressure and distributes weight equally.
Keep in mind mattresses should be rotated on a regular basis to avoid uneven wear and tear, and should be replaced at least once every 10 years. Also a good thing to note: we like that Signature Sleep mattresses are rolled and vacuum-packed in a box small enough to fit in your car, or up flights of narrow stairs, so delivery is always easy.
