I am not sure where you'd find the shoes exactly, but Google the words " preemie shoes" and alot comes up, or try other words for small baby shoes, and I'll bet you'll find something. Also, we were told by the physical therapist at the NICU followups we went to not to stand our son up, to just wait til he tried doing it on his own. There was the issue of it possibly being damaging to his hips, etc., because he was so early ( 26 weeks, l lb. 8.6 oz. ) , but your therapist might say differently.
I've always heard that babies being barefooted as much as possible is the best for them to learn standing and walking, but that soft soled shoes are the second best thing. I know that during the cold weather I like having shoes on my son, though- he constantly ( and I do mean CONSTANTLY) takes off his socks!
What a little blessing your girl is!
These gorgeous little preemie shoes come in two varieties…one with a button down flap to allow tubes from the feet to run freely whilst in a humidicrib, and closed back for tiny little toes to keep the heat in!
We have preemie baby shoes, crib shoes, crawling shoes, prewalkers, and walking shoes. We carry sizes that range from newborn baby shoes to toddler shoes perfect for any season, including summer sandals, athletic shoes and winter boots.
