How did this company start to manufacture all of those wonderful toys for children all over the world? The brothers Henry and Helal Hassenfield should really be thanked for the popularity of Hasbro toys all around the world. Way back in 1923, these two brothers found the Hassenfield Brothers, which is known as an old textile company. In a span of two years, the company has decided to expand and had its major products as school supplies, including pencil cases or boxes, among others. Sometime in the 1940’s, Hassenfield Brothers has decided to market doctor and nurse kits, two of the most popular toys during that time. Mr. Potato Head, which was recently made popular in the Pixar cartoon hit, Toy Story, was released in 1952. This toy hit was purchased from the inventor George Lerner. As we all know, Hasbro has definitely made an excellent decision because this toy has instantly grabbed the spot as one of the most endearing toys anyone could have.
